Gordon Maclean
Company Skipper Gordon Maclean brings 20 years of marine related knowledge to the business. He is a fully qualified RYA skipper, complete with commercial endorsement and is also a fully qualified SVQ skipper of 20 years standing. Gordon has, in addition, a wide ranging experience of commercial diving, sea fishing and work in the North Sea oil industry in various capacities. Gordon has been on the waters surrounding the Western Isles since he was a child and has detailed knowledge of the area in which trips take place.
Chris Murray
Chris boasts a long and varied sea-faring career including; Navy diver, helicopter winchman, rigger, North sea diver , paramedic Winchman at Bristow Helicopters, so it is safe to say our customers are in exceptionally capable hands. Chris is also known locally for his incredible photography skills, which can be seen here.
Jodie Sinclair
Jodie has lived in Stornoway all her life, which has left her with a huge appreciation for Island culture and history. She holds RYA power boat level 2 cert commercially endorsed and has had experience handling ribs and assisting with passengers in and around the waters of the Western Isles for the past 5 years. Her experience, enthusiasm, love for the sea and local history is a rare combination and one we are very lucky to have at Stornoway Seafari.
Lily Mackenzie
Lily joined Stornoway Seafari in 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of the crew. As a trained marine medic specialising in seals, she brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of local marine wildlife. Lily has a genuine passion for the seas around the Western Isles and is always eager to share her knowledge with guests, helping to make each trip both informative and memorable. Her enthusiasm, care for marine life and friendly approach make her a fantastic addition to the Stornoway Seafari team.
